FAQ
Is my audio uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is decoded and processed entirely in your browser with the Web Audio API. It never leaves your device, so it works offline and stays private.
What’s the difference between Smooth and Linear?
A linear fade changes the volume in a straight line. A smooth fade follows a gentle S-curve (raised cosine), which usually sounds more natural to the ear — especially for music.
Which formats can I use?
Any format your browser can decode (MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, OGG). The result is saved as a lossless WAV; convert it to MP3 with the Audio Converter if you need a smaller file.
