How to use

  1. Drop a PDF in, or tap the box to choose one. Use Prev and Next to reach the page you want to edit.
  2. Pick a tool — pen, highlighter, line, box, text, white-out or eraser — choose a colour and size, then draw right on the page. Undo takes back the last mark; Clear page wipes the current page.
  3. Press Download edited PDF. Every mark is stamped onto its page and a new PDF is saved to your device.

FAQ

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is opened, edited and rebuilt entirely inside your browser. Nothing — not the file and not your marks — ever leaves your computer, so it works offline and stays private. The PDF viewer loads once on first use and is then cached for next time.

How do I zoom in or work on a bigger screen?

Use the zoom buttons (or Ctrl/⌘ and the mouse wheel, or a two-finger pinch) to zoom in and out, and the zoom readout to snap back to fit-width. Pick the Pan (hand) tool to drag the page around when it is zoomed in. The Full screen button opens a large, distraction-free editor that fills the whole window — press it again or Escape to leave.

Does white-out actually remove the text underneath?

No. White-out paints an opaque block over the page so the content is hidden visually, but the original text is still in the file and could be copied or searched. If you need to permanently remove sensitive text so it cannot be recovered, use the Redact PDF tool instead.
