Is the video made on your servers?
No. The video is built right in your browser using ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly. Your image and audio never leave your device. The first time you make a video, the engine (about 25 MB) downloads once and is then cached.
How long does it take?
Short videos that match your audio are quick. Long loops are built entirely in your browser’s memory, so they can take several minutes and a lot of RAM — a desktop is strongly recommended, and very long lengths may not finish on phones or low-memory machines. If you hit a limit, just choose a shorter length.
Which files can I use, and what do I get?
Image: PNG, JPG or WebP. Audio: MP3, WAV, M4A or OGG. The result is an MP4 (H.264 video + AAC audio) that plays on YouTube, social media, and every modern device.
