FAQ
Is my music uploaded anywhere?
No. The tags are read and written entirely in your browser — the file never leaves your device. The engine used to write tags (about 25 MB) downloads once on first save and is then cached.
Which tags can I edit?
The most common ones: title, artist and album. They’re read from the file’s existing ID3 tags so you can see and tweak what’s already there.
Does saving tags re-compress my MP3?
No. The audio is copied untouched and only the metadata is rewritten, so there’s no quality loss and saving is quick.
