FAQ

What are UTM parameters?

They’re tags added to a URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and optional utm_term and utm_content) that tell Google Analytics where a visit came from, so you can measure which campaigns work.

Will the tags change my page?

No. They’re just extra query parameters on the link; your page loads normally. Analytics reads them to attribute the visit. Any existing query string or #anchor on your URL is preserved.

Is anything uploaded?

No. The link is built entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, so it’s private and works offline.
