QR Code Generator

Make a QR code from any link or text and download it as a PNG or SVG — free, private, generated in your browser.

How to use

  1. Type or paste a link, or any text, into the box. The QR code previews instantly.
  2. Adjust the size, colours and error-correction level if you like — higher correction survives scuffs and logos better.
  3. Download it as a crisp PNG (great for posters and print) or a scalable SVG (perfect for design files).

FAQ

Is my link or text sent anywhere?

No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser, so whatever you encode never leaves your device. It works offline and stays private.

What does the error-correction level do?

It adds redundancy so the code still scans when partly damaged or covered. Low fits the most data in the smallest code; High lets roughly 30% of the code be obscured (useful if you place a logo in the middle) at the cost of a denser pattern.

PNG or SVG — which should I download?

Pick PNG for quick sharing, slides and most print jobs. Pick SVG when you need to resize the code without any blur — for large posters, signage or editing in design software.

Will the QR code keep working later?

Yes. A QR code is just a picture of the data you typed — it points straight at your link or text with no redirect or tracking in between, so it never expires and keeps working as long as the destination does.
