  2. Click a square and type letters. Type across or down; the puzzle fills as you go and your letters are highlighted.
  3. Stuck? Press Show answers to reveal the full solution, or Clear my entries to try the same grid again.

FAQ

Where do the puzzles come from?

Each puzzle is built in your browser from a curated bank of words and clues. The tool packs the words together so they cross, then numbers the grid — so every New puzzle is a different, valid crossword.

Can I get a smaller or easier puzzle?

Choose a theme to focus the words, and press New puzzle until you get a grid you like. Each grid only uses words that genuinely interlock, so they are always solvable from the clues.

Is anything uploaded?

No. The puzzle is generated, drawn and checked entirely on your device, so nothing leaves your browser. It works offline.
