FAQ

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The watermark is added entirely in your browser — the file never leaves your device, so it works offline and stays private. The PDF engine loads once on first use and is then cached.

How is the watermark placed?

A single line of text is drawn diagonally across the centre of every page, at the opacity, size and colour you choose — subtle enough to read the page through it, but clearly marking the document.

Can the watermark be removed?

It’s drawn into the page content, not stored as easily-stripped metadata. It can’t be toggled off, which is the point — though, like any visible mark, a determined editor could cover or crop it.
