FAQ

How is a cumulative GPA calculated?

Your cumulative GPA is a credit-weighted average. Multiply each GPA by its credits to get grade points, add the prior grade points to this term's grade points, then divide by the total credits. So the formula is (prior GPA × prior credits + term GPA × term credits) ÷ (prior credits + term credits). Because it is weighted by credits, a heavy term shifts your cumulative GPA more than a light one.

Is anything I type uploaded?

No — it runs in your browser. Your GPA and credit numbers are used for plain arithmetic right on your device. Nothing is uploaded or stored, so your grades stay private and the tool works offline.

Why did my cumulative GPA barely move?

Once you have a lot of prior credits, a single term is a small slice of the total, so even a strong term nudges the cumulative number only a little. The more credits already behind you, the harder it is to shift the average — which is exactly why early terms matter so much.
