How to use
- Set how many counters or rooms you have and press Create a queue. You’ll get a short queue code and a private staff key — save both.
- Open the Display on a big screen, put the Ticket machine on a tablet or phone at the entrance, and open the Console on the staff device. Customers tap the machine to take a number and can scan its QR to watch their turn on their own phone.
- On the Console, press Call next to send the next number to a counter (or assign a specific number to a room). The Display and every phone update instantly, with a sound and an optional notification when someone is almost up.
FAQ
Is any personal information collected?
No. The system only ever stores queue numbers, counter labels, timestamps and statuses — never names, emails, phone numbers or any personal data. Customers don’t sign in or enter anything; they just take a number and (optionally) let their browser show a notification when they’re near the front.
How does it stay in sync across devices?
Each queue has a short code. The display, the ticket machine, the staff console and every customer phone all read the same live queue through Softofu using that code, refreshing every couple of seconds. Knowing the code only lets a device watch the queue or take a number — calling, skipping and configuring require the private staff key.
What happens to a queue afterwards?
A queue is automatically cleared after 12 hours with no activity. There are no accounts, so keep the code and staff key if you want to reopen the same queue — and use Reset on the console to start the numbers again from 1 at any time.
