FAQ

Is my subtitle file uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser — the file is read and edited locally and never sent to a server, so it works offline and stays private.

What does shifting do?

It moves every timestamp in the file by the number of seconds you enter — perfect for captions that appear a little early or late. A positive number delays them; a negative number moves them earlier (never before zero).

Can I edit the wording too?

Yes. The whole subtitle file is editable in the box, so you can fix typos or rewrite lines before downloading. The format stays standard SRT.
