Gantt Chart Maker
Make a simple Gantt chart in your browser — add tasks with a start and length, see them as time bars, then download a PNG, SVG, PDF or JSON. Free and private.
Report a problemAdd tasks, then set each task's start and length in whole units. The chart updates as you type.
How to use
- Add a row for each task and give it a name. Press "+ Add task" for more rows, or the ✕ to remove one.
- For each task set a Start and a Length in whole time units — for example a task that starts at 2 and lasts 3 covers units 3, 4 and 5. Choose whether the units are days, weeks or months.
- Pick a format — PNG to share a picture, SVG for a sharp file you can scale, PDF to print or attach, or JSON to save and re-open later — then press Download. Everything is drawn in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
FAQ
Is my chart sent to a server?
No. The whole chart is built and exported in your browser, so nothing you type is uploaded. The tool works offline and keeps your plan private.
Does it use real calendar dates?
No — it uses simple whole-number time units (such as day 1, day 2, week 1, week 2) so you can sketch a schedule quickly without wrestling with calendars, weekends or months of different lengths. Pick the unit name that suits your project.
Can I show dependencies or a critical path?
Not in this version. It draws a clean visual schedule — one bar per task positioned by its start and length — which is what most people need. Dependency arrows and critical-path highlighting are deliberately left out to keep it simple and fast.
