Video Enhance & Upscale

Upscale and sharpen a video offline in your browser — 2× or 4× with denoise, then download an MP4. Private: nothing is uploaded.

MP4, WebM, MOV — short clips work best

Add a video to begin. The first run loads the engine (~25 MB) once.

How to use

  1. Drop a video in, or tap the box to choose one — short, low-resolution clips work best.
  2. Pick how much to upscale (2× is a good start), a sharpen level, and whether to reduce noise first.
  3. Press Enhance & download. This is heavy in-browser work, so use a desktop and start with a short clip; 4× is slow.

FAQ

Is my video uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs offline in your browser using ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly, so your video never leaves your device. The engine (about 25 MB) downloads once on first use, then is cached.

Is this AI upscaling?

No — this is high-quality classic enhancement: a Lanczos upscaler for crisp resizing, optional noise reduction, and unsharp sharpening to bring back detail. It is fast, predictable and fully offline. (Our AI upscaler with a neural model is currently for images only; AI video upscaling per frame is far too heavy to run in a browser today.)

Why is 4× so slow?

Upscaling multiplies the number of pixels in every frame (4× means 16× the pixels), and the browser encodes single-threaded. Keep clips short and small for 4×; 2× is much faster and looks great for most footage.
