No. The file is decoded and reversed entirely in your browser with the Web Audio API. It never leaves your device, so it works offline and stays private.
What can I use reversed audio for?
Reverse effects (cymbals, risers and swells), “backmasking” experiments, sound design, and just having fun hearing a clip played backwards.
Which formats can I use?
Any format your browser can decode (MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, OGG). The result is saved as a lossless WAV; convert it with the Audio Converter if you need MP3.
